VITRAILLISTE RUE RAVIGNON MONTMARTRE

"Le Vitraillistse" acrylic on canvas 2017

I first painted this man's shop on the rue Ravignon 20 years ago. He left for Mexico and as far as I know, never returned.
I imagined he's aged so I brought the painting up-to-date. And the objects.
Since I a began a chromeo luminoscity tecqnique with my abstract
water colors - some 40 years ago I have been told that I should make stained glass windows.
I shouldn't. I'd cut my finger off for sure.
Now at least, I've painted a man who does just that.
It made be very happy
